The "manage" program used to add, remove, and update user account and domain information did not encrypt user passwords added to the mail database via the "password" function. All Automate::pdm packages have been updated to correct this issue. Thanks to @mikemackay for reporting the problem.
Automate::pdm::ubuntu-10-10 was released today. It configures Postfix for SMTP service, Dovecot for IMAP and POP3 services, and uses MySQL to store email domain and user account information. This release supports Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat).
Just ahead of the expected official release of Debian 6 (Squeeze), Automate::pdm::debian-6 was released today. All mail server functionality has been thoroughly tested against Debian 6 RC2, and should be ready for prime time. However, users are cautioned not to rely on this version of Automate::pdm until Debian 6 is officially the new "stable" release.
Automate::pdm::ubuntu-10-04 version 1.4.1 was released today. This release includes a utility to allow users to easily manage domains, accounts, and email forwards with simple shell commands. Users with older installations can download the new version to a temporary directory, extract the "manage" program, and move it to their pdm installation directory. Enjoy!
